The Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda is the only cigar in our Top 25 that’s made in the U.S.A. Rolled at the small El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami’s Little Havana, the cigar is a homage to a shrinking industry. In America, only a few cigar factories remain.
The brand debuted in 2016 with limited regional distribution. In 2019, it became a national brand. Owned by Drew Estate, the cigar was created by Willy Herrera who put together an intriguing blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco held together by an Ecuador Sumatra binder and Ecuador Havana wrapper. It all amounts to a nutty, cedary smoke with distinct tones of cinnamon, cardamom and brown sugar.
