An attractive robusto with a big, spicy cardamom aroma. Its earthy core is framed by notes of brown sugar and chocolate, but the finish is a bit metallic.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Feb 01, 2015 | Score: 87

Dark and oily with a consistent draw. This is an overwhelmingly herbal smoke that also imparts earthy, medium-bodied undertones and a woody finish.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Apr 01, 2012 | Score: 86

There isn't a single soft spot on this perfectly cylindrical, oily cigar. It smokes evenly with a strong woody opening, but an underlying bitterness affected the score.

Issue: Cigar Insider: Jul 13, 2010 | Score: 88

Very dark and oily, this well-made robusto is a woody-tasting smoke with an even draw and burn. Floral undertones also come through before the oily finish.
