A creamy smoke with some gingerbread notes and a bit of orange-infused tea on the palate. A mild to medium-bodied smoke.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Dec 01, 2013 | Score: 87

Though covered in a gnarly wrapper, the draw and burn of this Lonsdale are perfect. Wet straw and hay flavors are accompanied by a nutmeg note, however a touch of moldy earth offset the score.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Jun 01, 2013 | Score: 86

This Lonsdale has a semi-even burn and offers a cedary-tasting smoke that leaves musty flavors on the palate.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Aug 01, 2000 | Score: 85

A good cedary note marks this medium-bodied cigar. It has a nicely colored golden-brown wrapper. It has a bit of an herbal character, and finishes a bit tart and dry.

A wrinkled, fragile wrapper. It burns well. The creamy flavor is overshadowed by rough notes. It has herbal, tart highlights.
