Tasting Note

This isn't the first time the Cuban Cohiba Siglo VI has made the Top 25 list, and most likely will not be the last. It has scored in the 90s repeatedly in our tastings since it was introduced in 2004. When it first came to market, the Siglo VI entered some new ground for Cohiba. At the time, this was the fattest Cohiba ever launched (the size is called CaƱonazo in Cuban cigar factories) and it was the first Cuban cigar to showcase the new "lipstick" style, pull-top aluminum tube. It's not the strongest Cohiba, as the Siglo series is lighter than the core Cohiba line, but the Siglo VI is by no means mild, nor inexpensive. According to Habanos, the best tobacco in Cuba is reserved for the brand, and that lofty claim is reflected in the price.
