Tasting Note
The smoke from this veiny and rustic looking cigar layers the palate with impressions of bread, charcoal and bitter woods. Off notes and a very dry finish affected the score.

Good tooth to this wrapper, which burns unevenly. It’s woody and spicy, with a touch of cedar but little on the finish. Medium bodied.

Issue: Cigar Insider: Jul 01, 2000 | Score: 87

This rustic cigar has a nice draw and an even burn. It has light, earthy flavors with light notes of spice.

Issue: Cigar Insider: Sep 01, 1997 | Score: 87

This brawny cigar appears to be box-crushed, rather than box-pressed. But it burns beautifully, filling the mouth with rich, earthy smoke. Nutty and leathery, with a cedar finish.
