First impressions of this slim cigar are dry and herbal, but it picks up some notes of pepper and cocoa powder. The draw is inconsistent.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Jun 01, 2010 | Score: 85

Covered in a sandy, veiny wrapper, this long thin cigar is bitter at first, but then warms to show woody notes and a wheaty finish.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Jun 01, 2006 | Score: 87

This slim cigar has a fine cap, and an attractive wrapper. Sugary sweet at first, it takes on an earthy, cedary flavor with a flinty, rough finish. Medium bodied.

Issue: Cigar Insider: Oct 01, 2003 | Score: 86

This panetela is tan and silky. It has a tight draw and an even burn. It is somewhat harsh, with notes of sour wood. The finish is tart. Needs aging.
