The wrapper s spotty and veiny, but this little cigar smokes very evenly. Woody and spicy flavors come together quite pleasantly before a nougat finish. Tastes better than it looks.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Oct 01, 2006 | Score: 87

A slim, speckled cigar with a good draw and burn. While rough out of the gate, it takes on toasty, savory flavors with a wisp of coconut. Medium bodied.

A wrinkled, olive drab wrapper. The draw is firm. It has a tangy, woody flavor with some vegetal notes and a slight bite.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Nov 01, 1997 | Score: 84

A well-balanced cigar. It is quite mild, and has a slightly papery finish.

Issue: Cigar Insider: Dec 01, 1996 | Score: 82

Oily, dark and solid, but it has a tight draw. This cigar has hints of sweetness and wood, but it's flat and unremarkable.

Issue: Cigar Aficionado: Jun 01, 1995 | Score: 86

A well-made cigar with a firm draw. It has an oily texture to the smoke, and interesting sweetish tobacco flavors along with a solid cedary finish.
