ALEC BRADLEY PRENSADO GRAN TORO

Tasting Note
Alan Rubin's Alec Bradley Cigar Co. has been in business since the cigar boom in the mid-1990s, but over the past several years he has truly stepped up his game, delivering great smoke after great smoke. First came the spicy and bold Alec Bradley Tempus, then the medium-bodied Family Blend (last year's No. 16 cigar). One of Rubin's newest creations, the box-pressed and dark Alec Bradley Prensado, is keeping up his tradition of making top-quality cigars. This richly colored cigar is beautifully made (it's perhaps the finest looking cigar to come out of the Raices Cubanas factory) and has a sweet and leathery flavor that turns toasty and nutty with a chocolate note.
