New President And Board Members For TAA

The Tobacconists’ Association of America has several new board members and leadership positions. Jennifer Groh, of Metro Cigars LLC in Germantown, Wisconsin, comes in as president, replacing Joe Arundel of Rain City Cigar. Arundel has been on the board for 12 years.
Cory Bappert, president of Oliva Cigar Co., has joined as an associate advisory board member. Other new appointments include Jorge Ahued of Stogies World Class Cigars, Renee Silverman of Smoker Friendly/Klafters, Inc., and Richard Castiano of World Famous Cigar Bar, who is now TAA’s Board Secretary.
The Tobacconists’ Association of America consists of roughly 250 shops in the United States, along with many prominent handmade cigarmakers. The 54-year-old organization also has a series of cigars made just for members, known as TAA Exclusives.
