Nat Sherman first opened his eponymous shop in the lobby of a skyscraper on Broadway in New York City in 1930. Today, the company still operates its midtown-Manhattan Townhouse flagship store, and the business has grown into one of the world's most well-known purveyors of all-natural cigarettes and premium cigars. Now known by the epithet “Tobacconist to the World," Nat Sherman International Inc. has evolved its one-time sleepy cigar portfolio with hit brands such as Timeless, Timeless Nicaragua and Metropolitan Habano. In 2017, the family-owned company was purchased by tobacco giant Altria Group Inc.
