Oliva Cigar Co. has a new look for its Serie O (previously "O" Classic) and Serie G (previously Grand Cameroon) lines in an effort to unify the company branding.
The new bands are beige with gold detailing on the letters and the borders. There are subtle variations depending on the brand. The Master Blends' band will remain the same, minus the laser engraving on the wrapper.
Oliva's newest Special S cigar will feature the redesigned bands as well. One of only two new blends released by Oliva at this year's Retail Tobacco Dealers of America trade show (the other being the Master Blends 3 Liga Maestra), its sun-grown wrapper is from Ecuador and is aged for five years in cedar. The company describes the flavor profile as rich, smooth and creamy, with a medium to full body. It has a Nicaraguan binder and filler and comes in nine sizes.
