My Father Cigars is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a commemorative cigar called My Father 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 2018. The special smoke celebrates José “Don Pepin” Garcia’s 10 years of business under the My Father Cigars banner (the company and the brand launched in 2008). The new cigar begins shipping nationwide to retailers next week.
Measuring 6 1/2 inches by 52 ring, My Father 10th Anniversary is rolled with an Ecuadoran Habano rosado oscuro cover leaf, two Nicaraguan binders (Habano and Corojo 2006) and Nicaraguan filler with a bit of Pelo d’Oro in the blend. All the Nicaraguan tobacco hails from the Garcia family farms.
Boxes hold 14 cigars, each presented in its own wooden coffin. The cigars are slated to retail for $24 apiece. Only 2,500 boxes will be produced and every box is numbered.
The company bills the new limited-edition smoke as a nearly full-bodied cigar.
Like all My Father Cigars brands, 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 2018 is rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
