CLE Cigar Co., known for its CLE, Eiroa and Asylum cigar brands, will be releasing a line called Eiroa The First 20 Years Colorado, an offshoot of its Eiroa The First 20 Years brand. The cigar launched at a select number of retailers last year and is now slated for broader national release on April 3—but there's a catch. Only 50 retailers in the U.S. will be getting it.
"These cigars will be available to 50 retailers across the country," Bianca Melone, marketing director for CLE Cigar Co., told Cigar Aficionado. "First come, first served, but obviously taking into account our top [CLE Cigar] supporters."
Like its predecessor, The First 20 Years Colorado contains all-Honduran tobacco, however, the new cigars are draped in a reddish-brown colorado wrapper.
"I absolutely love the authentic Corojo seed and finally, after decades of trying, I finally have the exact colorado color I have been looking for my entire career," said brand owner Christian Eiroa.
The cigar ships in boxes of 20 and is available in four sizes, each named for its dimensions: 46x6, 50x5, 54x6 and 60x6. Eiroa The First 20 Years Colorado is priced $12.36 to $14.36 per cigar.
Eiroa The First 20 Years Colorado is rolled in Danlí, Honduras at Eiroa's El Aladino factory.
