Warped Cigars has sent a new size of Flor del Valle off to cigar retailers. Called Seleccion de Valle, the 6 inch by 52 ring gauge cigar debuted at this summer’s PCA trade show. According to brand owner Kyle Gellis, Seleccion de Valle started arriving at cigar shops near the end of last week.
Seleccion de Valle is a regular-production cigar rolled entirely with tobaccos from Aganorsa, one of the largest growers of premium tobacco in Nicaragua. It’s made with a Nicaraguan Jalapa Corojo '99 wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.
The new size is a straight-sided cigar topped with a slightly tapered head, a shape often referred to as a drop head, or a "Conde 109."
Seleccion de Valle is priced at $12.98 and comes packaged in wooden, 20-count boxes. The cigar is rolled at the Aganorsa Leaf factory (formerly called TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.
