Warped Selección Domain Heads To Retailers

A new cigar from Warped is part of a series meant to highlight the style of the factory from which it’s made, and the smokes are on their way to retailers today. The series is called Selección Domain and the new size, called 4546, is produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La Isla, a small, young factory owned by Hostos Quesada.
“I wanted to craft a blend from each factory that highlighted the factories’ backgrounds and strengths,” said Warped brand owner Kyle Gellis, who contracts different factories to make his various brands. “With Tabacalera La Isla, we wanted to showcase the tobaccos of the Dominican Republic and focus on the factory and its youthful spirit to take chances.”
The Selección Domain 4546 is a Rothschild that measures 4 1/2 inches by 48 ring gauge and consists of a Dominican Corojo wrapper, Dominican binder from Cotuí and mostly Dominican filler with some Nicaraguan tobacco as well. The cigars come in 25-count boxes and have a suggested retail price of $9 each.
This cigar is the second release in the Selección Domain series. The first, which was an exclusive to Warped’s subscription-based DROP cigar club, highlighted the El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami. While that cigar is remaining a DROP exclusive, the new 4546 is available to all Warped retailers. According to Gellis, an upcoming Selección Domain cigar will feature the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Nicaragua, though no release date has been set.
