It’s been out for less than a year, but the Viva La Vida brand now has a hefty new size. The Jester measures 5 inches by 56 ring gauge and comes in a handy five-pack that retails for $58. The cigars will not be sold individually.

“We’ve been waiting for the Jester for almost a year and finally it’s here,” said brand owner Billy Fakih.

Made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez, this new, chunky cigar brings the Viva La Vida brand to six sizes: Jester, Diadema Fina, Gran Toro, Robusto, Toro and Torpedo, all of which are made with only Nicaraguan tobacco.

Cigar shops that hold in-store Viva La Vida events will get priority for first shipments of the Jester. Subsequent shipments will then go out to other brick-and-mortar retailers.

Viva La Vida cigars are owned by Artesano del Tabaco, a company formed by Billy and Gus Fakih, two of the three brothers who owned and ran the two Cigar Inn stores on the east side of Manhattan. The cigars are distributed by A.J. Fernandez.
