The Four Seasons Of Avo Starting This Spring

Davidoff of Geneva U.S.A. is planning a quartet of seasonal cigars for its Avo brand. Called Avo Seasons Limited Edition Series 2023, all four smokes will be released in the same size, a double-tapered Diadema that measures 6 5/8 inches by 50 ring gauge. While the sizes are the same, each season is made with a very different blend and packaging intended to evoke the seasons they’re named after.
The first to be released, Spring, is scheduled to ship on March 23. It consists of an Ecuadoran Corojo wrapper, Dominican San Vicente seco binder and Dominican fillers (San Vicente, Piloto Cubano and a hybrid tobacco dubbed 192). It has a suggested retail price of $18 per cigar and comes packaged in 10-count boxes.
The upcoming Avo Seasons, which will be released throughout the year, are blended as follows:
- Summer—Ecuadoran Corojo wrapper, Mexican binder and Dominican filler
- Autumn—Mexican San Andrés wrapper with Dominican binder and filler
- Winter—Ecuador Connecticut wrapper with Dominican binder and filler
According to Davidoff, some of the tobaccos used in the cigars have been aged up to 14 years. The company also stated that all four releases will be medium in body. Avo Seasons are made in the Dominican Republic at O.K. Cigars.
Production of each Avo Seasons Limited Edition Series 2023 will be limited to 4,000 boxes per season, with 1,500 boxes allocated to the United States.
