TAA Cancels 2020 Annual Convention Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

The 52nd annual Tobacconists Association of America meeting and convention, which was postponed a few weeks ago, has now been officially canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The 2021 TAA convention is scheduled for April 9 to 16, and will take place at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

The TAA consists of 79 retailers covering 244 stores across the United States. Each year, some of the biggest brands in the handmade cigar industry produce special cigars that are only sold through the retail shops of the organization’s members.

According to Scott Regina, TAA president, the exclusive cigars for 2020 are still expected to be released, including the three that have been introduced so far.
