Today, the Tobacconists’ Association of America began its submission period for the 2022 TAA Exclusive Series of cigars. The organization, which dates back to 1968, consists of approximately 80 retail members, with more than 250 locations around the United States.
The TAA exclusive cigars—which will be sold only via shops that are members of the TAA—will be presented and put on sale to retail stores during the organization’s convention in Los Cabos, Mexico from March 20 through March 24, 2022.
Some of the cigars have done quite well in Cigar Aficionado blind taste tests. The Villiger 2020 TAA Exclusive Toro scored 94 points in one of our tastings, and the Tatuaje TAA Exclusive 2020 scored 91 points.
Some of the most prominent cigar companies in the handmade cigar business are members of the TAA.
