Scandinavian Tobacco Group Coming Back To PCA Trade Show

Scandinavian Tobacco Group was one of four major cigar companies that broke away from the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show in early 2020 in a very public way. Now, STG is coming back to the show—in part—as an exhibitor.
STG will be represented at the PCA show via its Forged Cigar Co. portfolio, which includes Room101, Partagas, La Gloria Cubana, Diesel, Bolivar Cofradia, El Rey del Mundo and its newest brand, Alec Bradley.
“We are very pleased with the recent, retailer-focused changes the PCA organization has made to the annual trade show and have decided to renew our participation beginning this year,” said Régis Broersma, president of STG’s North America and rest of world division in a statement. Broersma pointed to the PCA’s recent decision to move future shows to the spring as part of the reason for STG’s return. “Moving future PCA shows to March was a pivotal factor in our decision to come back to the show,” he said, adding that STG will be taking the space on the showroom floor previously reserved for Alec Bradley.
This year’s PCA trade show will be held July 7 through 11 at the Venetian Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The three other large companies that broke away from the PCA are Altadis U.S.A., Davidoff and Drew Estate.
