Quesada Brings Back Holiday Keg

As we move closer to the holiday season, Quesada Cigars is celebrating this festive time of year with the Quesada Holiday Keg 2022 Edition, a miniature barrel of smokes that should reach retailers the first week of November.
The Holiday Keg is a small, holiday-themed barrel filled with cigars and it first appeared in 2015 for St. Patrick’s Day. The cigars were meant to complement a pint of stout. The next year, the Quesadas did it again, but also released a similar Keg in December for the end-of-year holidays. Another Keg returned for St. Patrick’s Day in 2017, but the Kegs haven’t been released since. This year, Quesada has brought back the holiday cheer.
“It’s been a while since the last time we presented this fun project, a cigar meant for the holidays and the great spirit of the season,” said Manuel Quesada, president of Quesada Cigars, which is based in the Dominican Republic.
The 2022 Edition has the same dimensions as the first holiday release, a Toro that measures 6 inches by 50 ring gauge. This year’s edition has a different blend with an Ecuador Havana 2000 wrapper and Dominican binder over fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Each Quesada Keg holds 10 cigars and will retail for $119, or $11.90 per cigar. Only 500 kegs will be produced for the U.S. market.
The Quesada Holiday Keg 2022 Edition is made at Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación Inc. (TABADEX) factory in the Dominican Republic.
