Punch Knuckle Buster Coming In Darker, Stronger Maduro

The wallet-friendly Punch Knuckle Buster brand just got a shade darker and a notch or two stronger. Called the Knuckle Buster Maduro, this new Punch is meant to be an amped-up version of the original line with more peppery spice and an inky-dark maduro wrapper.
The Punch Knuckle Buster Maduro is made with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan filler. Like the original release, the Maduro is rolled in Honduras at the HATSA factory and comes in three sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 52 ring gauge ($5.19); Toro, at 6 by 50 ($5.69) and a 6-by-60 Gordo ($6.19). The Robusto and Toro are presented in 25-count boxes while the Gordo comes 20 per box. All sizes still uphold the brand’s mission to be a value cigar, as they all retail in the $5 to $6 range per cigar.
The new Punches should ship to retailers on March 1. The cigars are distributed by General Cigar Co., a subsidiary of European corporate giant Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
