Psyko Seven Nicaragua Heads to Stores

Psyko Seven Nicaragua, the newest collaboration cigar between Ventura Cigar Co. and Nicaraguan cigarmaker Indiana Ortez, is now on its way to cigar shops.
Rolled entirely with Nicaraguan tobaccos, Psyko Seven Nicaragua debuted earlier this year at the Tobacconists’ Association of America conference in three sizes: a 5 inch by 50 ring gauge Robusto ($8.49); 6 by 50 Toro ($8.99); and 6 by 60 Gordo ($9.49).
According to Ventura, all the tobacco except the wrapper used in the Psyko Seven Nicaragua blend was grown by the Ortez family. The Nicaraguan wrapper is said to be from a 2007 crop that was grown using the desflorado process.
Each size comes packed in 20-count boxes, and were rolled at Agroindustrial Nicaraguense de Tabacos S.A. in Condega, which is owned by Omar Ortez, Indiana’s father and cigar mentor.
While Psyko Seven Nicaragua debuted at the TAA conference, it is not exclusive to members of the organization.
