ProCigar Announces Dates For 2024 Festival

The annual celebration of the Dominican Republic’s rich cigar culture and industry is coming back next year. The 16th ProCigar Festival will be taking place from February 18 to 23, 2024, in the Dominican Republic, during its traditional week of President’s Day.

The Festival offers attendees a chance to see a considerable amount of the beautiful, cigar-loving nation and engage with some of the most respected cigar manufacturers in the world. The daily agenda includes daytime tours of bustling cigar factories and bountiful tobacco fields from the industry’s top players followed by evenings of joyous celebrations with more than enough cigars to go around.

Visitors from around the world attended the festivities last year: the ProCigar organizers say more than 850 people were in attendance.

“In this festival we celebrate the successes and the trajectory of more than three decades of our Association. This has been achieved thanks to the commitment of each of our members to our history, culture, and tradition,” said Hendrik Kelner, president of ProCigar.

ProCigar is a collective of every major manufacturer of premium cigars in the Dominican Republic. The organization is committed to upholding high quality standards and the esteemed reputation the Dominican Republic carries in the international cigar scene.
