Personnel Changes At General Cigar Co.

Two executives have left General Cigar. Former director of marketing Ed McKenna, who was focused on General’s CAO brand, has parted ways with the company. He joined General in 2009.

Jack Toraño, who came on in 2016 as brand ambassador for the Toraño line of cigars, has also left General. He’s now director of sales for Espinosa Premium Cigars and started his new position on January 2.

General Cigar, headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia, is the maker of Macanudo, Partagas, Punch and many other cigars. It’s a unit of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, based in Søborg, Denmark.
