Pacific Cigar Co. Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Silver Jubilee Cabinet Humidor

If you have an extra HK$28,800—that’s about $3,670—to spend on cigars and rum, you could own one of the limited-edition Silver Jubilee Cabinet humidors. The package was created to celebrate 25 years of The Pacific Cigar Co. Ltd., the official Habanos distributor of Cuban cigars for the Asia Pacific Region.
Designed with traditional Chinese ornamentation, the humidor features a silver-plated facade to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the company. Inside are 50 cigars—one box of Bolivar Silver Jubilees (5 1/2 inches by 50 ring) and one box of Ramon Allones Silver Jubilees (5 1/8 by 55)—a bottle of Cuban Havana Club rum blended especially for this package, and two decorative, etched glasses.
The Bolivar and Ramon Allones cigars were made to mark this milestone and are only available in the Asia Pacific region. A few cigar enthusiasts got a preview of the two smokes in December when Pacific Cigar threw its anniversary party.
The bottle and glasses can be easily removed to make more room in the humidor for cigars.
Should you only want the cigars, the two Regional Edition smokes are available separately. The Ramon Allones Silver Jubilee retails for HK$9,450 ($1,204) per box, the Bolivar for HK$8,100 ($1,032).
Only 250 of these commemorative humidors were produced. Pacific Cigar expects them to ship in September.
The Pacific Cigar Co. was founded in 1992 by David Tang after being granted exclusive distribution rights by Habanos S.A. Tang passed away last year, but Pacific Cigar continues to provide Cuban cigars to dozens of retail shops in the Asia Pacific region, as well as to shops in Canada and China, totaling more than 60 retail stores across the region.
