What was once a single cigar is now a full, four-size line. Luciano The Dreamer, a lancero from ACE Price that was named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 12 cigar of 2021, is getting three more sizes, and the new cigars were introduced at the TPE trade show last week in Las Vegas.

Made in Nicaragua at Tabacalera Pichardo, the new sizes are: Hermoso, measuring 5 inches by 48 ring gauge ($12); Toro de Lux at 6 7/8 by 50 ($12.50); and a 5 1/2-by-52 Belicoso. All four sizes, including the original lancero (7 1/2 by 38, $15), come in boxes of 15.

The new cigars will have the same blend as the original size: an Ecuador Havana wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobacco. According to ACE Prime, the tobaccos used in the cigar are aged for three years and then are aged an additional three months after rolling.

The Dreamer was originally released in September 2020 as a limited-edition follow-up to 2019’s Luciano The Traveler. Production of The Dreamer was limited to 7,000 boxes but due to positive customer response, ACE Prime made the cigar a regular production size

Luciano Meirelles, co-founder of ACE Prime, told Cigar Aficionado that the cigars are expected to ship to retailers either the final week of February or the first week of March.

Like all ACE Prime cigars, Luciano the Dreamer is distributed by Crowned Heads in Nashville.
