La Palina Silver Label Launching At TAA

The most full-bodied smoke La Palina Cigars has ever produced will debut at this month’s upcoming Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) conference. Called La Palina Silver Label, the new cigar was blended in response to customers asking for a stronger La Palina.
The new smoke is rolled in Honduras at the El Paraiso cigar factory with a Cuban-seed, Honduran wrapper, binder from Costa Rica and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Honduras. It comes in only one size, a 6 1/2 inch by 52 ring gauge Toro that will retail for $9.99.
Packed in 20-count boxes, the new Silver Label Toro will be sold exclusively through members of the TAA, which consists of 77 retailers who operate nearly 240 stores nationwide.
According to La Palina, only 1,000 boxes will be produced.
