La Gloria Founder Working on Exclusive Miami Line

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, the man behind La Gloria Cubana cigars, is putting the final touches on a limited-edition cigar that will be made only in Miami. The move will turn his tiny Miami factory—birthplace of the heralded non-Cuban La Gloria Cubana cigar—into a showcase for making a special version of the La Gloria. Production on regular La Gloria Cubanas is split between Miami and the Dominican Republic. The Dominican factory, which dwarfs the one in Miami, makes the bulk of La Gloria Cubana cigars.
