La Coalicion Ships to Retailers This Week

La Coalicion, a collaboration project between Crowned Heads and Drew Estate, began shipping to retailers earlier this week.
First introduced this year at PCA, La Coalicion was conceived by blender Willy Herrera from Drew Estate and Crowned Heads owner Jon Huber. The pair previously came together last year to create the Buckeye Land, a cigar exclusively available in the state of Ohio.
Made at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua, the line is rolled with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Ecuador Sumatra binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars come in 20-count boxes.
La Coalicion is available in four sizes: Corona Gorda, measuring 5 inches by 46 ring gauge ($10.95); Gordito, 5 1/2 by 50 ($12.25); Siglo, 6 by 52 ($13.50); and Sublime, 6 1/2 by 54 ($14.95).
Look for a vertical brand tasting of La Coalicion in an upcoming issue of Cigar Insider.
