La Aurora Launches 1985 Maduro With Brazilian Wrapper
La Aurora 1985 Maduro comes in four sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge (pictured); Toro, 5 3/4 by 54; Churchill, 7 by 47; and Gran Toro, at 6 by 58.

La Aurora, one of the oldest cigar companies in the Dominican Republic, has released 1985 Maduro, the fourth brand in its Time Capsule series. The series celebrates specific years and tobacco wrappers significant to La Aurora's history. In this case, 1985 denotes the first year that Brazilian Maduro wrapper was used to make cigars at the La Aurora factory.

In addition to the Brazilian cover leaf, 1985 Maduro is rolled with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The cigar comes in four sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge; Toro, 5 3/4 by 54; Churchill, 7 by 47; and Gran Toro, at 6 by 58. 1985 Maduro comes in 20-count boxes and is priced from $5.75 to $6.25.
