Hoyo De Monterrey Le Hoyo De San Juan In A Tube

The thickest cigar in the Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey portfolio is now available in a handy tubo. The Le Hoyo de San Juan, which was first released last year, now comes in a glossy white, "lipstick" style, pull-top tube for portability and protection.

At 5 7/8 inches long by 54 ring gauge, it's the girthiest gauge Hoyo de Monterrey in production and is the fourth Hoyo cigar in the Habanos Heavy Ring Gauge category to come in this type of tube. Known in Cuban cigar factories as geniales, the Le Hoyo de San Juan shares its dimensions with the Montecristo Open Eagle.

Both the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicures No. 1 and No. 2, as well as the Epicure Especial come in similar pull-top tubes.

The first Cuban cigar to come in the pull-top type of cigar tube was the Cohiba Siglo VI. The style proved so popular that Habanos offers many of its popular cigars in similar tubes from the Partagás Serie D No. 4 and Punch Punch to Romeo y Julieta Churchills to the entire Siglo Series of Cohiba.

Like many tubed Cuban cigars, The Le Hoyo de San Juan tubos come in packs of three. They retail for £25.23 each in the U.K, or £75.69 per three-pack.
