For the third consecutive year, famed cigarmaker Carlos Fuente Jr. is teaming up with Berta "The Guayabera Lady" Bravo to host Havana Nights—A Fuente Family Affair, a lavish charity cigar party taking place this fall in Miami.
All proceeds from the event, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 25 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Neo Vertika building in Miami, will go directly to Fuente's Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.
The nonprofit organization was founded in 2001 by the Fuente and J. C. Newman cigar families with the mission to create meaningful change to the communities of the Dominican Republic through education, healthcare and the development of eco-friendly business ventures. Last year's Havana Nights event was one of the foundation's bigger fundraising events.
Guests will be able to enjoy food from local restaurants and libations courtesy of Bacardi as well as live music. In addition, event-goers will participate in a raffle and be able to bid on a silent auction featuring luxury items from sponsors (which include luxury watch-maker Hublot).
Joining the Miami VIPs and cigar aficionados from all over the country at the event will be Carlos Fuente Sr.
Tickets for Havana Nights are $125 per person, and $200 per couple. They can be purchased at www.theguayaberaladyfoundation.org, or by calling 786-287-6664.
