Famed cigarmaker Carlos Fuente Jr. and Berta Bravo, better known as The Guayabera Lady, are once again teaming up to throw a charity cigar party.
The second annual Havana Nights: A Fuente Family Affair cigar bash will take place on October 19 at 6 p.m. in the headquarters of The Guayabera Lady in Miami, Florida.
All proceeds from the event are to be donated to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by the Fuente and J. C. Newman cigar families with the mission to create meaningful change to the communities of the Dominican Republic through education, healthcare and the development of eco-friendly business ventures. Last year's event ended up being one of the foundation's top 10 fundraisers.
The event will be catered by Sushi Sake and Italian Sports Grill, with an open bar being provided by Bacardi and Coca Cola. Guests will get the chance to hear live music, too, and, most importantly, smoke cigars that Fuente will be passing out.
Tickets to Havana Nights are $125 for singles and $200 for couples and can be purchased by calling 786-287-6664.
