The Inch, the line of ultra-thick cigars from EPC Cigar Co., is getting a new version—The Inch Ringmaster. Each size in the new brand is a plump 64 ring gauge—a full one inch thick in diameter—and is made with an all-Nicaraguan blend, a first for the Inch.
The cigar comes in two sizes: a 5 3/8 inch by 64 ring gauge smoke and a 6 1/2 by 64 cigar. The names and prices have yet to be determined. They will be packed 24 to the box and be full-production cigars.
The original Inch hit the market in 2012, and it has become the best-selling brand in the EPC Cigar Co. portfolio.
“My father has very deep roots in the tobacco industry that go back to my grandfather, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Sr. Thanks to those beginnings, my father has masterminded all of our blends, and the Ringmaster is no exception,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s daughter and co-owner of EPC Cigar Co.
EPC Cigar Co. was created in 2009 and makes its cigars at La Alianza, its factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Its portfolio has more than 20 blends.
