A box of 25 Davidoff Dom Perignon cigars topped the auction selling for £4,500 (about $8,400), considerably more than the pre sale estimate of £2,500 to £3,500. Made in the early 1980s, the Churchill-sized smokes (7 by 47) were among the older Davidoffs sold at the auction, and were the most expensive cigars sold that day.
