Diamond Crown Black Diamond Has New Look And Stronger Blend

Boxes of the new Diamond Crown Black Diamond cigars have arrived at J.C. Newman’s Tampa headquarters and started shipping to retailers this week.
The brand, introduced in 2016, was recently retooled when Drew Newman, the company’s fourth-generation owner, updated the packaging and strengthened the blend.
“Although our Diamond Crown Black Diamond cigars have been savored by cigar enthusiasts around the world for six years, I was not satisfied and wanted to make them better,” Newman said.
While the look and strength level have changed, the prices, sizes and box counts are the same. Diamond Crown Black Diamonds are made in the Dominican Republic by Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. and are composed of all-Dominican tobaccos, save for the dark, Connecticut Havana wrapper.
The brand comes in 20-count boxes in three sizes: Radiant, measuring 4 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge; Emerald, at 6 by 52 and Marquise, at 5 1/4 by 56. Suggested retail prices before taxes range from $18 to $21.
