Delayed Casa de Montecristo Finally Opens in Hallandale Beach

The Casa de Montecristo that was supposed to open almost a year ago finally opened its doors on Saturday. Officially called Casa de Montecristo by Mancave, this location is a partnership between Benjamin Grynbaum, who owns Mancave Cigar LLC, and Casa de Montecristo, the retail arm of Tabacalera USA.
As the 28th Casa de Montecristo in the United States, the 1,800-square-foot shop features indoor and outdoor smoking and a 400-square-foot humidor. A full-service bar is the shop’s centerpiece, offering beer, wine, liquor and cocktails.
Casa de Montecristo retail stores and cigar lounges are part of Tabacalera’s initiative to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across the U.S. While some Casa de Montecristos are partnerships (such as this one), some are all-out acquisitions.
The Casa de Montecristo stores across the U.S. are run by Tabacalera USA, a subsidiary of tobacco giant Imperial Brands PLC. In addition to the Casas, Tabacalera operates Altadis U.S.A. Inc., Santa Clara and JR Cigar.
