Davidoff Launches New Golf Themed Cigar

Catering to golf enthusiasts who enjoy celebratory cigars and a bit of competition, Davidoff Cigars has announced the launch of Davidoff Golf Scorecard Edition 2016.
The cigars are designed to be smoked by players after a round of golf.
Available in one size and shipping in packs of five, the 6 inch by 55 ring gauge Gran Toro wears the standard white Davidoff band and also a secondary golf-themed band, with a bit of a twist. While four of the cigars feature a white-hued secondary band, a fifth cigar is adorned with a special gold-hued band, with the idea being that it's given to the winning player after scorecards have been tallied.
Scorecard Edition 2016 is draped in a Habano Ecuadoran wrapper with a binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. The five pack of Gran Toros will retail for $120, or $24 per cigar. The cigars are rolled at the Cigars Davidoff Factory in the Dominican Republic.
The release of Davidoff Golf Scorecard Edition 2016 marks the third time the company has launched a golf-themed cigar. In 2013, the company brought the Davidoff Masters Edition 2013 "Club House" Toro to market, followed two years later by the Davidoff Limited Masters Edition 2015. The company says that going forward, a limited-edition golf cigar will be made available every year as an annual release.
Only 2,500 packs (or 12,500 cigars) of Davidoff Golf Scorecard Edition 2016 will be released, and the cigars are slated to appear on store shelves this month.
