Cigar Aficionado Announces Free Monthly Newsletter Called Ratings Flash
At Cigar Aficionado, we blind-taste, review and rate hundreds of cigars every year. Of course, the whole purpose is to deliver those ratings to you, the reader. But perhaps some of these ratings can get lost in the shuffle from time-to-time, maybe glanced over in our print issues or simply missed entirely. And so, to make your lives easier, we’ve created a new, free e-newsletter that’ll keep you up-to-date on recent cigar ratings called Cigar Aficionado’s Ratings Flash.
This newsletter will come directly to your email inbox once every month. The sign up process is cost-free and seamless. Simply follow this link here, enter your email, zip code and industry and hit subscribe.
Each month, the newsletter will hit your inbox with a featured, brief summary of the ratings in that month’s selection, as well as a preview of some of the top cigars we’ll be highlighting. You will be prompted to follow a link to our site where you will then see the full curated list of roughly 20-30 cigar ratings and reviews.
All cigars are categorized and grouped by their size (figurados, coronas, robustos, etc.) and are further delineated by score in descending order. For each cigar, you’ll essentially see a snapshot of the full tasting note, meaning an image of the cigar, the score, a written review, price, country of origin and the date the cigar was rated. You’ll also be able to easily see the full tasting note and cigar info if you’d like to see more.
