Burn By Rocky Patel Opening In Atlanta This Weekend

On Saturday, Georgia’s capital city will have a new place to smoke. Burn By Rocky Patel is having its grand opening this weekend, giving cigar fans a 5,000 square foot cigar lounge—one of the biggest in Atlanta.
This newest outpost of Burn is located in The Battery Atlanta, a relatively new shopping and entertainment district complete with retail stores, restaurants, bars and even a hotel, all leading to SunTrust Park, the baseball stadium that serves as home to the Atlanta Braves. But don’t think about catching a cigar at Burn after a Braves game—at least, not if you’re dressed in a baseball cap and Jersey. Burn is keeping it business casual with a dress code that forbids caps, or athletic clothing of any kind.
“We’re changing how people are looking at cigars bars,” explained Rocky Patel, owner of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. “Burn will speak to a different dynamic of people. We are bringing new types of people into the premium cigar category, including women, young men and future business leaders.”
The new Burn features spirits, food, music and, of course, cigars (both Rocky Patel and third-party brands) in a polished atmosphere. It’s open until midnight during the week and 2 am on weekends.
This is the fourth Burn by Rocky Patel, following Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh and the original Burn in Naples, Florida. A fifth is scheduled to open soon in Indianapolis. While all share a common theme of an upscale smoking environment, each location also incorporates unique design elements that reflect the city and local culture.
