Avo Classic Belicoso Returns as Limited Edition

An Avo cigar discontinued more than 15 years ago is getting a second lease on life for a short period of time. Next month, Davidoff of Geneva is bringing back the Avo Classic Belicoso as a limited-edition release.
At 6 inches by 48 ring gauge, the Belicoso is an all-Dominican blend, save for the Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. It will come in 25-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $12 per cigar. Only 2,000 boxes were produced.
The Avo Classic line was created in a partnership between founder Avo Uvezian and Hendrik “Henke” Kelner from Davidoff that began in 1988.
The Avo Classics are made at the Oettinger Kelner (OK) Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic, and are blended as mild to medium-bodied smokes like the rest of the Avo Classic line.
