Ashton Classic's Stronger Addition

Ashton Classic's Stronger Addition

Ashton debuted the Classic Majesty at this year's Retail Tobacco Dealers of America convention in Houston -- a new size addition to its Classic line.

It's a slightly stronger Ashton Classic made by Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic. The cigar sports the same Connecticut Shade wrapper as the rest of the line but has a different interior blend, although the bunch is still made entirely of Dominican tobaccos. The cigar's flavor profile is strengthened by pepper and spice qualities, which "gives it a zing through the nostrels," says Ashton's Sathya Levin, and it sports a large 56-ring gauge.

The Majestys will be available in the fall in limited quantities with a tentative price tag of $9.50 per stick.
