Alec Bradley Cigar Co. often gives playful and inventive names to its cigars. You might remember the Texas Lancero, a massive 7 inch by 70 ring gauge cigar that was anything but a traditional panetela. Then there was the Filthy Hooligan, the company’s annual St. Patrick’s Day smoke. Now, Alec Bradley is introducing a new size of Magic Toast called Chunk, and the name fits the cigar.
At 4 1/2 inches by 60 ring gauge, the short and chubby smoke is, well, rather chunky. The new size starts shipping to U.S. retailers next month and is priced at $9.25 per cigar.
Magic Toast debuted last year and is rolled with a dark Honduran wrapper over two binder (one Nicaraguan, the other Honduran), with filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras. Chunk is the fourth size to the line.
Packaged in 20-count wooden boxes, Magic Toast Chunk is rolled at the Raices Cubanas Factory in Danli, Honduras.
After this U.S. launch, Chunk will be released worldwide in November.
