Months after forming a distribution agreement with Crowned Heads LLC, ACE Prime Cigars has announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Dalay Zigarren, a well-known German distributor and owner of the La Casa del Habano store in Saarbrücken.
ACE Prime Cigars was founded by blender and entrepreneur Luciano Meirelles; Eradio Pichardo, the founder of the Tabacalera Pichardo cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua; and Tiago Splitter, an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets and a former NBA player, who won a championship with the San Antonio Spurs.
The deal means that Dalay Zigarren will carry the bulk of ACE Prime’s brands, including the Pichardo cigar lines, the limited-edition Luciano (The Traveler) and the M.X.S. Signature cigars from former NBA stars Dominique Wilkins and Splitter. Additionally, Dalay Zigarren will carry an exclusive brand developed specifically for the distributor/retailer.
“We have a common vision about the future of our premium cigar family and our values and goals are aligned,” said Meirelles in a press release. “We've already received a lot of support from publications and cigars experts across the globe, and we are truly excited to expand into Europe.”
