A special release deserves a special size. At least, this was the thinking behind the Bellas Artes Maduro Figurado. Made by A.J. Fernandez in Nicaragua, the box-pressed, double-tapered perfecto is only available to retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America.
At 6 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge, the striking perfecto is set to retail at $12 each (before taxes) and comes packaged in boxes of 20. Like other cigars in the Bellas Artes Maduro line, the blend consists of a dark Brazilian wrapper, Mexican binder and Nicaraguan filler. Only 1,000 boxes are being released.
According to the company, most of the boxes are currently in the Miami warehouse and ready to ship immediately.
