A Quesada Cigar Fit For The Holidays

A Quesada Cigar Fit For The Holidays

The holidays can be a stressful time of year, but it can also be joyous. To help alleviate some of the strain and encourage more of the good vibes with family and friends, Quesada Cigars has crafted a new limited-edition cigar called Holiday Keg.

Covered in a Corojo-seed Dominican wrapper, Holiday Keg is a 6 inch by 50 ring gauge toro that includes a Dominican binder and filler from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. They're made in the Dominican Republic at the Quesada Cigars factory.

The cigars, which began showing up in stores in mid-November, do not come packed in typical square boxes. Instead, Holiday Kegs are housed inside dark, smooth wooden containers that resemble a keg, which Reilly says give the cigars "more of a ‘gift' feel." Each keg contains 10 cigars and a Boveda pack, so they can be stored outside of the humidor.

Only 1,000 kegs were produced, and they retail for $79.50, or $7.95 per cigar.

"The holidays are a time for friends and family to gather together—something that has become increasingly rare in the hectic pace of today's world," said Terence Reilly of Quesada Cigars. "We thought these special moments needed a great cigar blended to enhance and celebrate just such an occasion. Now there is one."
