Toraño Debuts 90th-Anniversary Cigar

After being in the tobacco business for 90 years, the Toraño family commemorated the milestone with the limited-edition Noventa cigar, which finally came to its first retail shops at the end of December. The brand was originally slated for a September release, but aging the tobacco took longer than Toraño Cigars Inc. president Charlie Toraño had expected. Toraño also purposely put a cap on production, limiting his factory rollers to no more than 250 cigars per day in order to maintain quality and consistency, delaying the release date.
