The Cigar Stub

The Cigar Stub is an unusual type of cigar accessory intended to help an aficionado enjoy the very last bit of a cigar without burning his or her hands. The anodized aluminum device resembles a fat tube of chrome lipstick when folded away. Remove the cap and you'll see a small, folded claw that looks like the type found on the Robot from the classic television show Lost in Space. A three-inch-long arm extends at an angle from the base, with the claw at its end—slide a lever and the jaws open up.
This miniature arm is intended to hold your cigar in place while you smoke. Frankly the Cigar Stub feels—and looks—quite odd. If you really want to enjoy the last bit of your cigar, and you don't want to risk a bit of a burn by using your fingers, we suppose there's a use for the Cigar Stub. It undoubtedly would serve as a conversation starter if you dared unveil it at a cigar bar.
The Cigar Stub retails for $49.95 and can be found at a limited number of retail shops throughout the United States.
