Partagas Awards $10K to Man Cave Contest Winner
Posted: October 30, 2009
Partagas' Ultimate Man Cave Contest is over, and the Dominican cigar brand will award winner Michael Boehkle of Kent, Washington, $10,000 to build his dream smoking room.
Boehkle purchased his four-pack of Partagas cigars to enter the contest from Snoqualmie Casino, and so the retail establishment will receive Partagas-branded leather seating to place inside its cigar lounge called Lit.
To enter the promotion, contestants had to submit an essay explaining why they deserved to win the $10,000 grand prize. Boehkle wrote about how he is forced to enjoy his cigars outside, and in the Northwest that means he is usually smoking in the rain.
Boehkle works as a recon manager at a collision repair center. He also likes to collect and restore Harley Davidson motorcyles.
"I will combine two great legends, Partagas cigars and Harley Davidson to create a cigar lounge and vintage motorcycle museum in my garage," said Boehkle of his future plans.
